Today I will show you a card that I wanted to do for a long time.

The point is mixed media style pay very much attention to the layers. But in this style  artists generally use layers of different materials and medias.

And I wanted to make a card using the translucent layers of tracing paper.

Let's see.

Сегодня буду показывать открытку, сделать которую хотела давно.
Знаете, стиль микс-медиа уделяет много внимания слоям. Но это слои разных материалов и медий. 
А я хотела сделать открытку, используя прозрачные слои кальки.

Давайте глянем.

I wanted to achieve the effect of lightness and transparency.
For this I used the white tracing paper, stamping pad were taken not black, but the color of licorice, and also pale blue letters for the label.

Мне хотелось достичь эффекта легкости и прозрачности.
Для этого я использовала белую кальку, чернила для штампинга НЕ черного цвета, а лакричного, а так же буквы нежно-голубого цвета для надписи.

Here are only three layers and letters. As you can see some lower layers climbs out of the edges of the upper layers.

Здесь всего три слоя плюс буквы. Видите, некоторые нижние слои выглядывают по краям верхних слоев.

This card does not correspond to the style of "clean and simple", but that's how it would be desirable to describe!

Нет-нет, эту открытку нельзя отнести к стилю "чисто-просто", но именно так мне бы хотелось охарактеризовать ее.

FILM STICKERS - CARDS

Привет)

Сегодня две открытки из продукции моих любимых "зайчиков" - BoBunny!

На этот раз кроме того, что я хочу показать свои работы, я еще и собираюсь показать одну достаточно новую штуку - Adhesive Film Strip - даже не знаю, как правильно назвать по-русски, но увидев, вы сразу поймете о чем речь. Это как бы пленка от фотоаппарата, с "фотографиями" в окошках, с клейкой основой (они достаточно тонкие ,чтобы не добавлять объем, но достаточно жесткие, чтобы с ними было удобно работать). Поверьте - они очень крутые!

I want to share with you two of my new card. 

The first one is "Love you beyond the stars". 

As you understand, it's made for the beloved :). 

Frame was beautiful from the start, but I decided to add a little sparkle by using the glitter paste and acrylic cuper paint.

На рамочку, хоть она была хорошо и так, сама по себе, я добавился обожаемую мной глитер-пасту и немного медного акрила.

The card has several layers, but the most interesting layer is made of the Adhesive Film Strip - it is transparent, and it adds the depth!

Of course, I could not forget about white drops - so card has become brighter!

Тут несколько слоев, но, конечно, самый милый и интересный слой - это тот, который добавила эта самая фотопленка) Под ней все как будто бы углубилось...
Конечно, я добавило\а капли белого - ну, надо же как-то сделать открытку ярче?

The second one is the "One day we'll meet again" card.

For this card I decided to use a fairly bright and slightly mystical colors - deep purple (heheh), pink and white. 

As you can see Adhesive Film Strip's transparency again added depth and a little mystery!

 A little pink accent ( dot of Blush Pearlescents) added more interest!

 As you can see, I've used the paste and spray with a suitable tinge. Quite a small piece of map (real map!) and a small piece of scrap paper completed the composition!

В двух словах: основными цветами выбраны фиолетовый и розовый, по этому принципу и взяты бумага, спрей и паста, кусок настоящей карты - для пущего инетреса, а фотопленка - на закуску))))

Water Stamp Card

Despite the fact that I have a positive temperature outside, I'm still preparing for the most important winter holidays - Christmas and New Year!

Most importantly, it's time to make, to inscribe and to mail the cards for grandma, favorite aunts, brothers and sisters, who live in other cities and countries.

Of course, I can not as well forget my friends!

Today I'll show you a simple but my favorite technique of "water stamp."

I have prepared a small tutorial where you can see how easy and gentle looks outcome.

Here are some photos of the result:

I've used the Leaky Shed Studio laser-cut chipboard as an additional border - it is very beautiful in color, so I did not paint it, but merely added a little sparkle by using the Glitter Paste.

As you can see, the water - a great tool for prints! ;)

 In the following photo hard to see card, but it is clearly seen that the stamps adhered on three levels.

For this card I've used  Seaside No. 1 # 018  A5 set (as you see, you can color your stamp as you like!)

Watercolor fruit cards

As you know I like to use stamps not in scrapbooking or cardmaking (in the classic sense).

Как вы знаете, я люблю использовать штампы не только для скрапа или кардмэйкинга (ну, по крайней мере в обычном понимании этих слов).

But I like to add stamps to my watercolors.

Но я люблю добавлять штампы к моим акварельным работам.

Sometimes the work looks unfinished, but I do not know what to do ...
Then the simplest solution might be to add a background stamp.
Here's the truth!

Иногда работы выглядит незавершенной, но я даже не представляю, что я этим делать...
И самым простым решением может оказаться прост добавление фонового штампа.
Вот правда!

Don't paint things

Hi)

It's me, Maria Potapovich, here for you today.
Today I am not alone - I came with little card).

It's made for the artist.
You know, it's hard to come up with a wish for the artist - everything seems small and insignificant in comparison with the art.

So I've made a card on which are written Henri Matisse's words (slightly modified)  - "I do not paint things. I only paint the difference between things".

As it turns out, it's easy enough to illustrate these words - I only need one stamp from the Botanical Plate 2 (A5) set

Here it is:

I only put three times the stamp (leaf), carved them, painted the different watercolors on both sides and attaching them with the help of 3D-foam squares.

I think card turned minimalistic and creative.

What do you think?

Simple flower card with The Artistic Stamper Creative stamps

Good day)) 

Today I want to share with you another one of my simple card.

As always, lately I've been trying very much to make a card as easy as possible - fewer layers, fewer parts, but more sense, more effect...

At this time, the only distinguishing this card from the remaining cards with flowers the detail - this vase. It is made in the simplest way - from a rectangular piece of paper - folded and glued. 
It is the vase which I put a flower in.

Looking closely, you will see that the flowers are painted using watercolors, colored pencils and gouache pens, and there are few drops of acrylic paint appeared on the card's background.

I've used the Botanical Plate 1 (A5) stamp for creating this card.
Isn't it lovely?)))

This card is very simple. I used stamps cut paper circles and vellum to reduce the level of "roughness" here to create the background. This card is made just to say hello.

As you know, I'm a fan of stamps.
But I also love the different paints.
And why not?

This time to create this card I took the watercolor paper, stamps, ink, watercolor, and, of course, a pair of scissors)))

What good is similar stamps? And they are good that even without being able to draw, picking up a brush and paint, you can easily create a gorgeous picture!

To create this card I've just used three stamps Lady Falling, Flower and Bird Frame and Life Isn't About  stamp.

I think these sufficiently minimalistic cards, with a touch of "art" are very elegant and graceful...

Bloom card

Hi, it's me here for you today))

As you know, I'm adherent of stamps)))
But I also love the watercolor paints. I like to use it for it's intended purpose))

This time to create the card I took the watercolor and kraft paper, stamps, ink, watercolor, pens  and, of course, a pair of scissors)))

Having in the arsenal stamps like these it is easy to create the illusion a good ability to draw)))

I added a rough line, made ​​with a pens, to slightly reduce the effect of "art", which appeared by the addition of watercolor to the stamp's image.

In this card I've used Botanical Plate 2 A5 and  Journaling Mini Words #1

I think this sufficiently minimalistic card, with a touch of "art" is a bit rustic but quite elegant...isn't it?
