Today I will show you a card that I wanted to do for a long time.

The point is mixed media style pay very much attention to the layers. But in this style  artists generally use layers of different materials and medias.

And I wanted to make a card using the translucent layers of tracing paper.

Let's see.

Сегодня буду показывать открытку, сделать которую хотела давно.
Знаете, стиль микс-медиа уделяет много внимания слоям. Но это слои разных материалов и медий. 
А я хотела сделать открытку, используя прозрачные слои кальки.

Давайте глянем.

I wanted to achieve the effect of lightness and transparency.
For this I used the white tracing paper, stamping pad were taken not black, but the color of licorice, and also pale blue letters for the label.

Мне хотелось достичь эффекта легкости и прозрачности.
Для этого я использовала белую кальку, чернила для штампинга НЕ черного цвета, а лакричного, а так же буквы нежно-голубого цвета для надписи.

Here are only three layers and letters. As you can see some lower layers climbs out of the edges of the upper layers.

Здесь всего три слоя плюс буквы. Видите, некоторые нижние слои выглядывают по краям верхних слоев.

This card does not correspond to the style of "clean and simple", but that's how it would be desirable to describe!

Нет-нет, эту открытку нельзя отнести к стилю "чисто-просто", но именно так мне бы хотелось охарактеризовать ее.

I've used the Encyclopaedia Botanica stamps set 

Вот этот набор штампов (ссылка прямо над изображением) я использовала для этой открытки - всего три штампа из набора.
